Smart Home Help (2.4 vs 5)

Some Wi-Fi Hubs (like ours) can use two separate network frequencies to deliver better signals to different devices.

A 2.4GHz connection travels farther at lower speeds and is better for devices that have obstacles in the way like thick walls. 5GHz, on the other hand, provides faster speeds at a shorter range.

Check your device’s user guide to see what they are compatible with and what the manufacturer recommends, as older devices (even some newer Smart Devices like sockets, doorbells, TVs etc.) can only connect to the 2.4GHz band.
