What is Static IP?

A Static IP is a fixed, unchanging IP address assigned your Wi-Fi Hub, almost like your house number and postcode, but without giving a specific location.

Static IPs deliver stability and consistency for users who need to ‘dial in’ to their home internet connection for remote Wi-Fi Hub management, as well as access to devices like servers and CCTV cameras.

It’s really useful if you’re into remote access for computers and servers, but if you’ve never heard of it before, chances are you won’t need one.
