What's a wayleave agreement?
You may have heard of a wayleave, or access agreement before if it’s been mentioned by one of our operatives because of our network expansion. Essentially, a wayleave is an agreement put in place by Zzoomm and the owner of privately owned land or properties that gives us official consent to build our network on the landowners premises. So, whether you’re a landlord, tenant, local authority, or developer, a wayleave agreement must be in place before we get to work.

Agreements for private roads
Our friendly build team will be able to begin to build the infrastructure to the boundary of your property so your home can be ready for incredible speeds that you have never experienced before!
You’ll know what is going on every step of the way. We will supply you with a design that shows you how we are going to build your private road and provide the location of each point of termination. This is also known as a POT.
We are happy to work with you to arrange a site visit to talk you through these plans and answer any questions you have.
As a freeholder or a managing agent of rented, leased or let properties that is within our build plans, our wayleave exerts will be in touch with you to arrange a free of charge non-intrusive survey of the building.
The survey is simply for checking your property is safe to build. Whilst our experts are on site, they will require access to all common areas outside and within the building. This will enable them to design a unique pack to show the exact routes of work they will need to do.
Making sure our work is carried out professionally and with the properties integrity at all times is our top priority.
For land owners within our build plans, we will work with you and provide a design layout of the ducts and trenches that will be laid. Our wayleave experts will be on hand for any questions you have, and we will be available to walk you through the proposed route prior to the build.
Signing the agreement
Now it’s time to get excited! Once all routes are agreed with you, we will ask for the wayleave agreement to be signed which will allow us to carry out the work for you. Not only that, any works that Zzoomm undertakes have a two year warranty.
