Outage? No problem! If you need to get online, you can easily tether your phone. Just a heads-up: data charges might apply if it’s not part of your mobile plan.
iPhone
- Open Settings
- Tap Personal Hotspot and flick the switch to ON
- On your device:
- Turn on Wi-Fi
- Look for your iPhone’s network, and connect with the password provided.
Boom! You’re online with your iPhone”s data.
Android
- Open Settings
- Find Hotspot or Tethering, and turn it ON
- Set up your Hotspot (network name + password).
- On your device:
- Turn on Wi-Fi and choose your Android hotspot.
- Enter the password, and you’re connected!
Done and dusted, you’re back online using your Android’s data.
Don’t Reboot Your Fibre Connection Box!
