In your house, there’s footage to upload, a game library to build and a household that doesn’t stop streaming just because you’ve started a large download.
Zzoomm 2300Mbps residential broadband brings 2.3Gbps of capacity in both directions, giving everyone in the house the online capacity they need. Multi-gigabit full fibre, for a home with plenty to get on with.
Our top speed service starts from only £35 a month, with a free WiFi 7 router. This is a new-customer offer, subject to availability and terms. Check below what’s possible in your area.
One person’s big project shouldn’t have to become the whole home’s schedule.
With 2300Mbps of total connection capacity, demanding activities have more bandwidth to share, whether that means downloads, streams or several people working online. It’s particularly useful when heavy use is a regular occurrence. The household can do what they want, without appointing someone head of internet home timetabling!
High-resolution footage and sizeable backups can make upload speed just as important as download speed.
This plan gives both directions 2.3Gbps of capacity, so sending large files becomes part of what you choose this type of connection for.
Your devices still determine the pace of each transfer of course, but the broadband provides the potential for some serious work and play!
Fixed-term 2300Mbps plans come with a WiFi 7 router to get your home network started.

The case for multi-gigabit broadband becomes clear when substantial transfers and demanding users are a normal part of home life. Here’s where that extra capacity becomes a necessity.
Modern games need speed!
Modern games can take up a remarkable amount of space. Add updates, new releases and more than one gamer, and downloads become a regular household event. A 2.3Gbps connection gives compatible setups the potential to move that data faster, where the game service supports it. It’s bandwidth for building the library and sharing the connection. Choosing what to play might still take ages of course!
Create something worth uploading
Video projects, detailed design files and batches of photography all have somewhere to go. With equal 2300Mbps upload and download capacity, you can put a capable home setup to work in both directions. Sending to a fast enough platform is where the benefit becomes useful. Your creative ambitions can be enormous; but the file-transfer conversation doesn’t have to dominate the day.
Entertainment without a household timetable
A film in one room, live sport in another and music following someone around the kitchen: every household has its own soundtrack. Multi-gigabit capacity gives those streams more room alongside substantial downloads and other demanding activity. It doesn’t make a film sharper once the stream has the bandwidth it needs. It helps give the rest of the home space to do its thing, too.
The home office that shares with everything else
Video calls are only part of some working days. Large project transfers, cloud storage and shared media can make the connection work considerably harder, especially with several people at home. 2300Mbps broadband offers the total capacity to support that mix.
Zzoomm’s full fibre network brings fibre-optic cable directly to your property. Older part-fibre services usually complete the final section over copper. By taking fibre all the way, Zzoomm provides the connection this 2.3Gbps residential plan needs, with equal capacity for uploads and downloads.
Making the most of that capacity involves your home equipment too. A single computer needs a suitable multi-gigabit connection, including the relevant router port and network adapter, to use more than 1Gbps over Ethernet. A 1Gbps port won’t become faster because the package does.
Several devices can share the overall capacity even when none can use the full speed alone, provided the network layout supports it. WiFi speeds also depend on device compatibility, signal and interference. A quick look at your setup helps turn a very fast connection into something genuinely rapid for your home!
The fastest broadband package isn’t automatically the right one. It depends on your home.

2300Mbps equals 2.3Gbps, placing it in the multi-gigabit category. That is the advertised connection rate, not a guaranteed speed on every device. The speed you can use depends on both your home equipment and the online service.
It is worth considering for demanding homes where several people regularly move large files, or where a compatible device can benefit from multi-gigabit transfers. It is a specialised step up, rather than a requirement for ordinary browsing or television streaming.
Potentially, but every relevant link needs to support more than 1Gbps, including the router connection, any switches and the computer’s network adapter. The server and computer must also sustain the transfer. Check the supplied router specifications and your equipment before buying upgrades.
That port limits the laptop’s wired connection to its supported rate, with useful transfer speeds lower after overheads. Other devices can still share the remaining household capacity. A faster broadband package does not change the physical capability of the laptop’s port.
Not automatically. Compatibility depends on the Ethernet standard, cable category, length and condition, as well as the connected equipment. Check those specifications first. Replacing every cable without identifying the limiting link may add cost without improving performance.
It provides a nominal link rate above the package’s 2.3Gbps rate, but the adapter is only one component. Its computer connection, drivers, router port and any intermediate switches must also be suitable. Actual throughput will depend on the complete setup.
Yes. The total connection can serve several devices at once, even when individual devices have lower limits. Whether they can collectively use more than 1Gbps depends on the router and network arrangement, including any shared connection that could become a bottleneck.
Not automatically. Once a stream has the bandwidth it needs, its picture quality depends on the service, subscription, display and content. The stronger reason to choose 2300Mbps is additional capacity for demanding activity across the home, rather than sharper pictures from speed alone.
This page describes residential 2300Mbps broadband. It does not imply business service-level commitments, a static IP address or other business-specific inclusions. If those are important to you, compare the separate business service and its terms.
The sending server, storage drive, application or local network can become the limiting factor. Some services also restrict transfer speeds. Multi-gigabit broadband removes one potential constraint, but cannot make a remote server or a slower device deliver beyond its capabilities.
