23rd June 2022. Zzoomm Full Fibre broadband is ramping up its expansion plans in a further seven towns across England, with Sherburn-in Elmet-included.
Zzoomm will provide Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband infrastructure to around 7,000 properties in Sherburn-in-Elmet as part of its launch to new market towns across Yorkshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire in summer this year.
The company’s latest announcement builds on its existing presence in Yorkshire, having already started its build in Thirsk, Easingwold, Northallerton, Stokesley and Great Ayton. The broadband network will greatly benefit North Yorkshire by accelerating connectivity and enhancing economic growth in the area.
Zzoomm is now the fastest growing and most trusted broadband provider in the areas which it operates, rated ‘excellent’ on Trustpilot by over 300 reviewers.
Matthew Hare, Chief Executive commented:
“Our latest investment in Sherburn-in-Elmet will ensure around 7,000 properties will have access to a future ready broadband network. We are proud that Zzoomm will be able to offer homes and businesses a service with unmatched speeds that isn’t reliant on the slow, unreliable copper used by other broadband providers in the area.”
Zzoomm secured a further £100 million in funding to accelerate its rollout strategy at the end of 2021 and aims to reach one million premises by 2025.
