Zzoomm, the Full Fibre broadband provider, has announced the addition of Hednesford Town FC to its Connecting Communities program.
Zzoomm’s build operations and national training facility – and many of the Zzoomm team – are residents of the local area.
As part of Zzoomm’s Full Fibre rollout to 37,000+ homes and businesses in Cannock, neighbouring Hednesford is now also a future-ready, digitally inclusive community with access to its 10Gbps network.
Hednesford Town FC aka ‘The Pitmen’ were formed in 1880 and was a natural fit with Zzoomm’s vision to support local communities in the area. Hednesford Town FC now also benefits from a Full Fibre connection for the Club and its community facilities.
Hednesford Town FC Club Secretary, Terry McMahon said:
“The club plays such a crucial role in the community, so Zzoomm’s investment both in the club to become the main shirt sponsor and through its Full Fibre broadband service will assist us in strengthening the club’s future, helping ensure the team continues to play a huge role in the community and of course help get us Zzoomming back into the top tier of the Northern Premier League!”
Chris Collinson, CCO commented:
“Connecting communities is an integral part of our culture. This means we’re investing in deeply rooted community facilities, supporting initiatives that fosters greater local engagement and provides a positive platform for the future of the community.
“We have invested heavily in Cannock, Hednesford and the local area to ensure that they benefit from our superior Full Fibre network. Residents and businesses alike are now able to connect to the fastest broadband available in the world, for a faster, brighter future.”
